- After lifting the lockdown, the rate of spreading of the virus has been more rapid.
- The lockdown was re-imposed in Kathmandu Valley from 20 Aug to 9 September 2020, and the second round of lockdown started over two months and continues until today 20 June.
- The COVID-19 created widespread concerns in Nepal and started to suffer the most rapid and widespread termination of economic activity due to the outbreak of this virus.
- In addition, the global economic disruptions and resulting impact on global value chain, plus restrictions in global travel and trade are already severely impacting Nepal’s economy and people’s livelihoods.

- Additionally, focus group discussions were organized to foster dialogue and gather collective insights.

- HVAP has developed a web-based Management Information System (MIS) to record data related to farmers, groups, cooperatives, NGOs, the project management unit (HVAP PMU), SNV, MOAD, and other stakeholders' activities.
- The system is designed to streamline data collection and management for all involved stakeholders.
- The project now plans to incorporate an offline data entry system to enable activity tracking in areas without internet access.
